Kids make a connection selecting magnetic letters with a wand and matching them to alphabet cards!
Alphabet matching games start with each child placing their wand into a bin filled with magnetic letters. After retrieving letters, they identify and match them to the alphabet cards. Color-coded cards feature vowels in red and consonants in blue for easy recognition. Teachers can also switch up the magnetic games by having children draw a card from a stack and use their wand to select the corresponding magnet. Scale the activity to the ability of the kids by limiting the number of letters or focusing on only upper or lowercase letters.
Plastic wands are 8"L, making them easy to control in little hands. A magnet on the end of the wands makes it easy to grab magnets. Hollow plastic letters are lightweight and include magnets for easy retrieval with a wand. Letters range in size, while the smallest is 1-3/4"L x 1/2"W. Magnets include both English and Spanish letters; 3" sq alphabet cards are English only.
Set includes 308 magnetic letters (154 ea uppercase, lowercase), 60 alphabet cardstock cards, 4 magnetic wands, and activity instructions. Ages 3 to 6.
