Rainbow racing game supports multiple areas of development while keeping kids active, entertained, and engaged. Start by placing a wand post in each dome, and then set them at one end of the play area. Divide kids into 6 equal teams and assign each a color. Teammates take turns racing to grab a foam disc and place it on the matching post. The first team to place all its discs on the corresponding post, wins! This is a great activity to work on color-matching, coordination, gross-motor skills, and teamwork. Scale it to accommodate any size space, whether in a classroom for a small-group activity or outside on the playground for the entire class.
